Challenge you may want to take
The
College Bridge Program allows qualified Chicago Public
School students to enroll in free college level classes.
For additional information, see the listing of College
Bridge Program Coordinators below.
Benefits:
-
CPS will pay the cost of tuition, registration/lab
fees, books, and provide bus passes to commute to
and from the college campus.
- Earn
dual (high school and college) credit. High school
credit will be recorded as an Advanced Placement
(AP) credit. College credit will be applied to a
degree program if you decide to attend one of the
City Colleges, or can be transferred to a four-year
institution.
Qualifications:
- You
must be a junior or senior public high school student.

You must have a 2.5 Grade Point Average. You must
have a 90% attendance rate.

You must have a recommendation from a counselor
at your school.

You must meet college's admission criteria (place
at English 101-Composition I and/or Mathematics
118-General Mathematics).
