SUCCESS CLUBS
Joining
a GEAR UP Success Club
A
challenge you may want to take
 Beginning
in October, 1999, each participating school established
a Student Success Club, and a minimum of 20 students
per school will be recruited to become members.
These clubs, led by student officers with
a teacher advisor (and connected with each other across
the network through a listserv) will provide opportunities
for students to identify and plan ways to learn more
about professional careers, i.e. videos, guest presenters,
shadowing, volunteer work, field trips, and attending
local community and professional meetings and seminars.
