Welcome to your life!
Anything
is possible. The best time to begin planning for an
education after high school is in 6th, 7th, and 8th
grades. Think College Early is here to help you take
a look at your choices

Why
Me?
You? Think about college now in middle school
or junior high? Yes! It's time to think about why you
should go even if no one in your family ever went to
college.
If
you learn differently or have special needs you also
need to start planning for college early. By college
we mean education after high school. This includes
2-year community or junior colleges, business schools
and vocational technical schools as well as 4-year colleges
and universities.
We
don't mean you need to know exactly what you want to
be when you grow up. It's OK not to know yet. But it's
time to start thinking about what you like to do, what
you're good at, and what makes you happy. Things like
that. Those things can give you clues to what you might
like to explore in education after high school and in
the world of work.

We must make
the thirteenth and fourteenth years of education,
at least two years of college, just as universal
in America by the 21st century as a high school
education is today, and we must open the doors
of college to all Americans.
