How
to Make the Most of a Tutoring Program
What can teachers expect of tutors? How can tutors
have the most impact on students? There is no single
answer to these questions. As GEAR UP takes on the
challenge of providing large numbers of tutors to
schools, considering how to make their work most effective
is critical. Two of the GEAR UP networks will share
the ways in which they link tutors with schools and
teachers. Ample opportunity for discussion and brainstorming
will follow.
