Terrific! This provided us with a real opportunity to work and create something meaningful as a team. (Teacher, Lozano School)
Jeffrey Wilhelm, author of "Hyperlearning" and "You Gotta Be the Book" returns to Chicago for a week-long institute which will build on the themes developed during the Inquiry Based Seminars and combine technology, with authentic research and inquiry based learning.
Teachers will work in "theme teams" to design a project and receive staff support as they implement the curriculum in the fall.
Participants from Northeastern's GEAR UP Networks are eligible to receive 3-hours of tuition-waived graduate credit after implementation of their curriculum in their schools in the fall of 2001. Monthly sharing/feedback sessions will be held in the fall to facilitate this process.

I was able to enjoy teaching in a totally different manner than what was customary for me during the school year.
