Q  How does Kids at Hope Fit into the Chicago GEAR UP Program?
A   Teachers, youth leaders, parents and other caring adults in the Chicago GEAR UP Program are encouraged to reinforce the Kids at Hope Principles as often as possible, if not every day. Take the time to recognize a child's talents, and verbally tell the child what they are doing well. Find ways to get the child's anchor involved in school and recreation activities. Both child and anchor can benefit from the shared experience. Kids at Hope is not a stand along system; rather it is a belief system intended to complement existing efforts to create a culture where all children are capable of success, no exceptions!
Q   Can you list the programs that Kids at Hope provide for Chicago GEAR UP?
A   There are five different programs that could be useful to the GEAR UP people.
Kids at Hope "Steps Journal"
Kids at Hope "Report Card"
Kids at Hope "Passport"
Kids at Hope "Rally"
Kids at Hope "Little Steps - Big Dreams"
