Fall 2009- "It was great getting fresh, new ideas," said one teacher who attended the mini-conference offered at Kelvyn Park High School. David Sperling, GEAR UP staff member welcomed teachers to the KP Mini-Conference in the auditorium with a slide show and overview of GU services. Teachers chose from 4 workshops.

Workshops included Technology, Persuasive Writing, Math, Reading Across the Curriculum, Vocabulary, and Division Activities.

Evaluations showed that teachers are interested in on-going workshops. Here are some teacher comments:
