• Class of 2008 ISAT Reading performance increased from 56.4% meeting or exceeding standards as 6th graders, to 62.8% as 7th graders, and finally up to 75% meeting or exceeding standards as 8th graders in 2008.
• On ISAT 8th Grade Reading, the percentage of students meeting or exceeding standards increased from 58% in 2005 (pre GEAR UP) to 75% in 2008.
• On ISAT 8th Grade Math, the percentage of students meeting or exceeding standards increased from 30% in 2005 (pre GEAR UP) to 72% in 2008.See charts at right.
